Hi! I’m Abi, a Psychology and Counselling graduate and the person behind My Mind, Mostly; formerly Your Anxiety Aid.
I’ve had my fair share of experience with anxiety, so I’m familiar with the joys of overthinking everything, always assuming the worst, and convincing myself that every new physical sensation is something I need to google.
So naturally, instead of paying for therapy, I decided to start a blog about it.
My Mind, Mostly is a place for honest and down-to-earth insights on my experiences and thoughts with anxiety, and a place to make sense of the things that our brain makes unnecessarily complicated.
Although mental health and anxiety are the driving force behind this blog, you’ll also find some posts on psychology, philosophy and the things that make us human – because I’m curious about those too.
Basically, if it makes me think, question, or go down a rabbit hole, there’s a good chance it’ll end up here.
So, whether you’re here because anxiety has become a little too familiar, or you’ve found yourself querying what life really is all about, have a look around – there’s probably something here worth getting distracted by.
